LAMPASAS, March 23. - G. B. Carter, 79, died at his home 12 miles northeast of Lampasas Monday night. He had been engaged in this section in stock farming for more than 50 years.
Funeral services and burial were at the Center cemetery Tuesday afternoon, the Rev. G. A. Goodman of Hamilton county, officiating.
He is survived by his widow and the following children; Riley and Noah Carter and Mrs. N. J. Lester, all of Lampasas county; four brothers and one sister; Charlie Carter of Snyder, Jim Carter of Weatherford, Andres Carter of Los Angeles, Calif., D. C. Carter of Oklahoma, and Mrs. W. A. Ross of Lometa.
