Roy D. Mathias was born near Memphis, Missouri, July 19, 1881 and departed this life March 29, 1925, at his mother's home in Granger, Missouri, age 43 years, 8 months, and 10 days.
At the age of fifteen years he with his mother, moved to Granger, Missouri, where he resided until his death.
On the 25th of September 1910, he was united in marriage to Mollie E. Goff, who preceded him in death July 11, 1914. To this union was born one daughter, Katherine Irene. When yet a boy he united with the Methodist Church.
He leaves to mourn his death his mother, one brother and daughter all of Granger, Missouri.
