Married to Nancy J. Springs on the 22nd of October 1856 in Williamson County, Illinois. Aaron Bell was the first to apply for 'Homestead' in 1866, for the community of BELOIT Township, Williamson County, IL. He was appointed first postmaster for Beloit in 1870.
