MADISON/POMPANO BEACH, FLORIDA - Bernadine M. Chipman age 77, formerly of 2851 W. Golf Boulevard, Pompano Beach, Florida, died on Monday, October 31, in a Madison nursing home. She was born on April 20, 1905 in Packwaukee Wisconsin and had been a Madison resident for the past one and one half years. Prior to living in Madison Mrs. Chipman lived in Pompano Beach for thirteen years, Ripon Wisconsin and Wisconsin Dells. She was a member of The Eastern Star in Wisconsin Dells, and was the past Worthy Matron at Grand Ruth. The former Bernadine M. Jones was married to Elmar Caflisch who preceded her in death in 1953. She then married James L. Chipman who preceded her in death on September 3, 1981. She is survived by two nephews, Wilbur (Bill) Jones of Madison & Harvey G. (Bud) Jones of Milwaukee. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 5 at 11:00 AM at THE FOREST LAWN MAUSOLEUM in Pompano Beach, Florida. Friends may call on Wednesday from 6-8 PM at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 2418 North Sherman Avenue
