WALTER A. DITTMANN

Walter August Dittmann, 59, of 1326 S. 18th St., Manitowoc, died Sunday evening at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc, following a lingering illness. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at First German Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. N.W. Kock will officiate and burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Town of Centerville.

Mr. Dittman was born June 10, 1909, the Town of Centerville, son of the late Henry and Bertha Wilke Dittmann. He attended public schools in Centerville and married Hertha Bartz Sept. 26, 1931, at Collins. They farmed in the Town of Centerville until 1957 when they moved to Manitowoc.

Survivors include his wife; a son, two daughters (Survivors omitted for privacy by original transcriber.); and eight grandchildren. Two sisters and a brother preceded him in death.

Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 4 p.m. Tuesday until noon Wednesday and then at the church.
