Nellie B. Ravens, 99, died Aug. 5, 2001, at Norwich Care Center, Norwich.
She was born Sept.22,1901, at Kingman, the daughter of H.T.,and Julia Kuhn Denison. A life long resident of the Kingman adn Pretty Prairie area, she was a homemaker.
She belonged to Pretty Prairie United Methodist Church.
On Sept 28, 1921, she maried Sam W. Ravens at Reno County.
Survivors include: a son, Marvin, Kingman; and a daughter, Verna Lou Kantner, Goshen, Ind.
She was preceded in death by a son, Donald; seven brothers, Arthur, Clarence, Raymond, Elmer, Verl, Carl and Jim; and two sisters, Lena Birt and Lydia Allender.
Funeral was Wednesday at Pretty Prairie United Methodist Church, Pretty Prairie, with Rev. David Ragland officiating. Buriel was at the sego Cemetery, Reno County.
Memorials may be sent to Pretty Prairie United Methodist Church, in care of Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman.
