She has been a patient sufferer for the past six months bearing her pain with all Christian fortitude. She was a loving faithful wife and mother and a kind neighbor.
A Precious one from us has gone,
A voice we loved is stilled;
A Place is vacant in our home
Which never can be filled.
God in His wisdom has recalled the boon
His love has give
And though the body slumbers here,
The soul is safe in Heaven.
A gold star mother has gone to rest,
We all loved her dearly
But God knew best.
Sleep on dear mother your troubles
are o'er,
We will all meet you someday
on that beautiful shore
To live with Jesus over there
Where parting will be no more.
Funeral services were held at the Edna M.E. Church at two o'clock last Tuesday afternoon. Rev. F.N. Vining officiating.
