Arnold Mueller, 88, formerly of 2209 Cindy Lane, New Holstein, died Sunday, October 18, 1992, at Rocky Knoll Health Care Facility, where he had been a resident since December, 1991.
He was born March 8, 1904, in the Town of Calumet, Fond du Lac County, son of the late John and Dorothy Loehr Mueller.
He was engaged in farming. On Sept 24, 1923, he married Ella Meyer in Marytown. He currently was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein, its Holy Name, and the Redmen Tribe of Marytown.
Survivors are his wife, Ella, of Marytown; one son, Melvin (Jean) Mueller, of Plymouth; one daughter, Loretta Morgan, of Elkhart Lake; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Edward (Viola) Mueller, of New Holstein and one brother-in-law, Guido Halbach, of Chilton.
He was preceded in death by one great-great-grandson and one sister.
Funeral services will be Thursday, 7:30 p.m., at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein. The Rev. James Cera, pastor of St George Catholic Church, in Elkhart Lake, officiating. Burial will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery. Friends may call at the Erbe-Evjen Funeral Home from 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday. There will be a Holy Name Rosary at 5:15 p.m., on Thursday, at the funeral home.
