OBITUARY :
MRS. DOROTHY ROUZER BIRELY, 80, a retired Central Intelligence Agency employe, died Wednesday, Feb. 18 at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C., after suffering a cerebral hemorrhage.
She resided at 3315 Wisconsin Ave. N.W., Washington.
Born in Thurmont she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Morris Lincoln Rouzer who descended from early American families. Mrs. Birely moved to Washington from Thurmont in 1932.
She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Thurmont.
Surviving, besides her husband, are one son, William C. Birely, Silver Spring, one brother, Carroll H. Rouzer, Washington, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted from the Creager Funeral Home in Thurmont on Saturday, Feb. 21 at 11 a.m. Interment will be in the Blue Ridge Cemetery, Thurmont.
There will be no viewing or calling at the funeral home.
