LAURA SANNAR
GRIDLEY (E-R) - Services Will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for Laura Richins Sannar.
Mrs. Sannar, 95, died Tuesday at a Yuba City hospital following a short illness.
She was born March 29, 1889, in Deseret, Utah. She lived most of her life in Gridley as a homemaker, moving there from Idaho in 1906.
Mrs. Sannar was an active member of the Gridley Mormon Church.
Survivors include seven sons, Harold Richins of Chico and Verland Richins, Ralph Richins, George Richins, Warren Richins, Alvin Richins, and Melvin Richins all of Gridley; a daughter, Melva Adams of Gridley; a brother, George Dewsnup of Gridley; 51 grandchildren, 141 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great-grandchildren.
Her first husband, Arthur Melvin Richins, died in 1928. Her second husband, Charles Sannar, died in 1956.
Three sons died previously: Raymond Richins in 1980, Milton Richins in 1981, and Louis Richins in 1982.
The Rev. Robert L. Fife will officiate at the services. Burial will be in the Gridley-Biggs District Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Gridley-Block Funeral Chapel which is handling arrangements.
