REIDSVILLE - Robert "Bob" Theron Kelley, 64, died Sunday, September 11, 2011 at Memorial Health University Medical Center. The native of Berrien County, lived in Valdosta before moving to the Vidalia area in 1977. He was a U.S. Army Sergeant, Veteran of the Vietnam War and graduated from Valdosta State University. He served as City Manager of Vidalia for many years and as Executive Director of the City Housing Authority in Vidalia. He was a member of Pineview Baptist Church. Survivors include: wife, Anita Thomas Kelley of Reidsville; daughter, Brandi Kelley of Milledgeville; son, Matt (Angelique) Kelley of St. Augustine, FL; step-son: David Brazel (Barbie) of Reidsville; brother: Aubrey Kelley of Brunswick; sister, Annette Kelley of Valdosta; grandchildren, Stephen Robert Kelley, Darby & Ben Brazel; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm, Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home in Reidsville.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home in Reidsville. Burial will follow in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville with military honors. Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home Reidsville Chapel.
