William W. Horst

William W. Horst, sixty-nine, of East Earl R1, died at 2:30 p.m. Friday of a cerebral hemorrhage after an illness of one week. He was a member of the Weaverland Mennonite Church and was engaged as a carpenter contractor in East Earl and vicinity for forty years. Besides his widow, Mary R. Sauder Horst, he is survived by these children: Ivan, Millway; Aaron, New Holland; Milton and Harry, East Earl; Ada, wife of Edwin Gehman, Ephrata RD; William, Gap; Mary, wife of Paul Heistand, Doylestown; Clara, wife of James Martin, and Abraham, both of New Holland; Anna, at home; Charles, East Earl and Allen, Lititz. Fifty grandchildren and eight great grand children also survive. One brother and two sisters also survive; Amos Horst, Ephrata; Mrs. Elam Taylor, Louisville, O., and Mrs. John R. Weaver, Washington Boro; also these step brothers and sisters: Harvey Horst, Toughkenonan; Mrs. Abraham Weaver and Mrs. George Good, Terre Hill; Mrs. Frank Peters, Mohnton; Mrs. Paul Ludwig, Reading; Mrs. Barton Kershner, Akron; Mrs. John Miller, Mechanicsburg, Cumberland country; John. Raymond and Vernon Horst, all of Terre Hill.
