"Mrs. Lois Burrows, widow of the late Lee Burrows, Sr., died Friday evening, at her home, 708 Sheridan.
Mrs. Burrows, the daughter of Frank and Ida May Forman (sic) Hatch, was born in Greeley, Colo., March 26, 1900.
She came to the Big Laramie Valley with her family as a girl in 1914. They settled on a ranch west of the city. This was her home until she was married to Lee Burrows in Laramie in 1922. They lived here during their entire wedded life.
She was preceded in death by her three brothers: Frank Hatch Jr., Sumner N. Hatch and Jesse B. Hatch, her husband Lee Burrows, her son Lee M. Burrows, and her parents Frank and Ida May Hatch. She is survived by her two sisters, Mrs. Wayne Marie Pritchard and Mrs. C.E. Stella MacGirvin.
Mrs. Burrows was a member of the First Baptist Church, the V.F.W. Auxiliary, of which she was a past president, the Rebekah Lodge No. 1, the Auxiliary to the B. of L.F. & E., and the World War I Veterans Auxiliary.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Stryker Mortuary; Rev. John H. Ashley will officiate."
