"Oliver G. Freyermuth, 41, of Fredonia, died at 1 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, 1947 at Greenville Hospital after an illness of several weeks. A son of George A. and Netta Custead Freyermuth, he was born in Jamisonville Pa., on May 13, 1906. He spent his early life in Palisade, Colo., and the last 26 years in Fredonia. He graduated from Fredonia high school in 1924 and he married Marie R. Mook on Christmas Day, 1934. A well-known businessman, he managed several feed mills located in Fredonia, Hadley, Sandy Lake, Cochranton and Franklin, which were established by his father, George A. Freyermuth, who died Dec. 21, 1942. He is survived by his wife; his mother, Mrs. Netta Freyermuth, and two sisters, Mrs. Howard Weatherby, Greenville, and Mrs. Craig Stewart, of Fredonia. Private funeral services will be held Friday at the L. Van Miller funeral home, with Rev. Ralph Metcalf in charge. Burial will be at Cochranton. The public is invited to attend memorial services at 3:30 p.m. Friday in the Fredonia Methodist Church. Friends may call this evening and tomorrow evening."
