Margaret F. Kramer
Margaret Frances (Pomeroy) Kramer, age 99, of Winona, MN, died on Sunday, September 20, 2009, at her home.
She was born on March 26, 1910, in Winona, MN, to James and Mary (Kobus) Pomeroy.
She was married to Harold Braatz, who preceded her in death in 1959. She later married Phillip Kramer, who preceded her in death in 1999.
She was a member of St. John Nepomucene Church. Margaret worked for the Knitting Mills, Stots, and also tended bar for many years.
Margaret loved to dance and enjoyed gardening and cooking. She especially loved Winona and spending time at home with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary (David) Postlewaite, Winona, MN; grandchildren, Cynthia, David, Keith and Tim; great-grandchildren, Jake, Alana, Jackie, Christopher, Christina, Eden, Timothy and Jennifer; as well as other relatives and friends.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husbands; son-in-law, David Postlewaite; grandson, Chris Postlewaite; parents; and 7 brothers and sisters.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM, on Wednesday, September 23, 2009, at Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home.
Deacon Justin Green will officiate.
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
A Visitation will be held at Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home, on Tuesday, September 22, 2009, from 5 PM until 7 PM. Visitation will also be held at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 23, 2009, from 10 AM until the time of the service.
The family respectfully requests that memorials be directed to Winona Area Hospice.
