Mr. H.M. Lomax died at 12:30 p.m. yesterday in Morgan Convalescent Home, Panhandle, where he had been since Monday. For a number of years he had lived with his daughter, Mrs. Ralph Chisum, 115 N. Warren.

Born in Mississippi on Jan. 21, 1869, Mr. Lomax moved to Meridian in 1871 and then to Pampa in 1910. He was a member of the Mary Ellen at Harvester Church of Christ.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ralph Chisum and Mrs. Loretta Killingsworth of Pampa; one son, B.J. of Abilene; one sister, Mrs. Lottie Williams of Spokane, Wash.; nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in Duenkel-Carmichael Chapel with John Jones, minister of the Mary Ellen at Harvester Church of Christ, and Wesley Mickey of Fort Worth, former minister of the Church, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery by the side of his wife, who died in 1946.

The pallbearers will be Hugh Layne, Robert Burns, Jim Perkins, C. Houchin, J.R. Bonner and Jerome Schmidt.
