Margaret "Maggie" Anna Evans was born to Elwood and Anna (Olmstead) Evans. She came to Cass County, Iowa, in a covered wagon with her parents when she was three months old. She had three brothers and two sisters. She was married to Lauren "Lou or Lon" Mullen, Dec 4, 1895, at the home of her parents and had made her home with her daughters since 1962. Mr. Mullen died April 14, 1926. Born to them were four daughters.
