News reached Kerrville Monday that Mr Jerome Ridley had died near Medina City at about 11 o'clock am the same day. Mr Ridley's home was in Bandera County, near the line with Kerr County and when death overtook him, he was in a camp near Medina, where he was engaged in doing some work. The cause of death was pueumonia and it is sadly deplored by his many relatives and friends. The body was buried in Center Point 9 o'clock am Tuesday.
Mr Ridley was 56 years old and bore the distinction of being the first child born in Kerr County. He leaves a wife and several children, most of whom are grown to mourn his untimely death.
