Sister Matilda lived in Spring Valley.

Harvey Lorfeld, 31, died today at his farm home in Centerville, following a lingering illness. Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. from the home and at two o'clock from the St. John and St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran church, Cleveland. Burial will be in Kassa cemetery.

Mr. Lorfeld was born in Spring Valley in 1906, a son of Mr. and Mrs. David Lorfeld. He married Miss Edna Freis in 1928 and located on a farm in Centerville. He served several terms as treasurer of the Maple Leaf school district, Centerville.

Survivors are the widow; four children, Lorraine, Harvey, Jr., Marlin and Carol, all at home; mother, Mrs. David Lorfeld, Centerville; three sisters, Mrs. Cranston Heckmann, Spring Valley, Mrs. Walter Berger, Sheboygan Falls, Mrs. Francis Schultz, Neenah; two brothers, Walter
and Arthur, Meeme.

The body may be viewed at the home from Saturday evening until the hour of the services Monday. The casket will not be opened in church.
