SPOUSE: Kate Walbridge: B. 11-1857 in Michigan. D. 1-03-1924 in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, MN. She was the daughter of Franklin B. Walbridge B.1810 D. 2-04-1867 in Cleveland, Ohio. and his wife Catherine Farley B.1828 D. 8-30-1897 in Minneapolis, MN.

SIBLING: Orlo Hitchcock Wolcott B.2-18-1839 Conn. D. 3-25-1880 Norfolk, Conn. Marries Ann Ensign Peck in 1858. Appointed Postmaster of Norfolk in 1869. Civil War Veteran. Enlistment date 10-25-1861. On Jan. 4, 1857 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio Edward Samuel married Kate Walbridge. Their only child, a daughter, was born on Sept. 20. 1879 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio. They named her Nelsa "Nellie" Wolcott. Nelsa died on May, 5, 1924 in Hennepin County, Minnesota. She was buried under the name Nellie Walcott Bathrick. Find a grave #154190198. Sadly, Nelsa's father, Edward Samuel, died just two months after Nelsa's birth. His request was to be buried in Ripon, Wisc. where his father, Orlo Jackson Wolcott, and his stepmother, Ellen Ensign Wolcott lived. On Nov. 28, 1879 he was laid to rest in Hillside Cemetery, Ripon, Wisconsin.

Edwards's Great Grandparents were: Samuel Wolcott (11-15-1736 - 08-24-1824) and Prudence Robbins (1744-1802). Samuel served in The American Revolution. His Ancestor # is A127434. He was a member of The Sons of The American Revolution. SAR #24816. Edward's 6th Great Grandparents were Henry Wolcott (12-5-1578 in England - 5-30-1655 in Conn.) and Elizabeth Saunders Wolcott (1584 in England - July 1655 in Conn.) They and other families sailed on the "Mary and John" arriving in Boston Harbor in the year 1630. They are one of the famlies that founded Windsor, Conn.
