Mrs. Lillie Scheffler, 71, a native of Manitowoc and former Sheboygan
resident, died at St. Michael's Hospital, Milwaukee, Thursday afternoon
following a brief illness. Mrs. Scheffler had moved to Milwaukee about
10 years ago after living in Sheboygan for several years and had made
her home in Milwaukee with a daughter, Mrs. Ethel Justus.
Mrs. Scheffler leaves three daughters, Mrs. Margaret LaVora, Milwaukee,
Mrs. Justus, Milwaukee, and Mrs. Lillian Seipel, of Illinois; her step-
mother, Mrs. Johanna Brick, Manitowoc; five brothers, Adolph, Herbert,
and Frederic Brick, of Manitowoc, Norbert Brick, of Newton, and Carl
Brick, of Brillion; and two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Eberhardt, of Manitowoc,
and Mrs. Hertha Liermann, of Liberty. Mrs. Scheffler's husband and one
son, Harland, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Dobratz Funeral
Home, 3514 North Port Washington Rd., Milwaukee. The body will be brought
to Kassa Cemetery, Centerville, where graveside services will be held
about 3:15 p.m. Saturday.
