Mrs. Albert Scheffler, 73, Hika, died Monday noon at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. The former Ida Sixel was born Aug. 28, 1883 in the town of Centerville, a daughter of the late George and Anna Wunsch Sixel. On Feb. 2, 1911 she was married to Albert Scheffler. The couple farmed in the town of Centerville until their retirement in 1936 when they moved to Hika. Her husband died Aug. 25, 1954.

Survivors are three brothers, August of Sheboygan and Otto and William of Hika. Three brothers and a sister preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at St. John-St. Peter Lutheran Church, Cleveland. The Rev. Eldon M. Bode, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in St. John cemetery in the town of Centerville. Friends may call at the Stoltenberg Funeral Home, Cleveland, from 2 p.m. Wednesday until 10:30 a.m. Thursday and then at the church until the time of services.
