(April 10, 1948 - September 14, 2011)

Mr. Thomas Acton Anderson, 63, of Mayfield died Wed., Sept. 14, 2011 at the Lourdes Hospital in Paducah. He was a member of First United Methodist Church. He was a retired farmer and former employee of South Central Bell. He was a honors graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Engineering and a Registered Professional Engineer. He was a graduate of Mayfield High School class of 1966. He was an avid amateur radio operator for 40 years with call sign of WA4YDO. He was a member of the American Radio Relay League and a former Army Reservist.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years Laura Lorenz Anderson; a daughter Ginger Streutker of Xenia, OH; a brother Charles Anderson of Roseville, Minn. His Parents were Robert and Hazel Embry Anderson.

Services for Mr. Anderson will be 2:00PM, Sunday, September 18, 2011 in the Byrn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe Hansen officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Park Cemetery. Visitation will be after 12:30PM Sunday, September 18, 2011 at the Byrn Funeral Home.
