Pierre Jean Charest, son of Pierre Charest and Adélaide Létourneau, married Anna Raymond, daughter of Zepherin Raymond and Anastasie Levesque, on 16 Jan 1866 at Saint Georges de Cacouna, Rivière du Loup, Québec, Canada. After 1901, Pierre immigrated with his family to the United States and settled in Auburn, Androscoggin, Maine. However, he was widowed in 1911, after which he returned to Canada for several years. Pierre went back to Maine about five years before his death at age 88. He died at the home of his son Ludger in Lewiston, and was interred in Saint Peter's Cemetery.
