HARKLEROAD, MYRTLE (MERZ), 81, passed away September 15, 2011 at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital. She was the owner of Dixie Sanitation, and a member of Chapel Park Baptist Church, Life member of Ladies Auxiliary V.F.W. Post 1181. She was preceded in death by her husband, C. Wayne Harkleroad. She is survived by daughter, Janet M. Sauter (John); sons, Harold D. (Jo), Jerry L. (Doris), and Gary G. McCorkle; sisters, Mary A. Staudt, Linda Hatfield and twin sister, Margie H. Green; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Sunday.
