He was the son of George and Catherine King. He married Grace Pinkstone, she survives along with their five children: Mrs. James Keefe, Little Falls; Mrs. Gordon O'Connell, Ilion; William Jr., Elmer and Harrry, all of Herkimer and 12 grandchildren.
