Services for Mrs. Newton S. Robberson, formerly of Oklahoma City, will be held in First Baptist Church, Monday, at 2 p.m.

Mrs. Robberson died Thursday at the home of a daughter in San Pedro, California. Interment will be made in Rose Hill Cemetery. Services under the direction of the Guardian Funeral Home.

The Oklahoman, Oct 8, 1945: Services for Mrs Melvina Robberson, former resident of Oklahoma, who died Wednesday at the Los Angeles home of her daughter, will be held at 2 pm Monday at the Guardian funeral home. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Mrs Robberson, who was 84 at the time of her death, made the run into Oklahoma in 1889 with her husband, the late Newton S Robberson, settling on a farm near Noble. After moving to Shawnee they moved to Oklahoma City to make their home for almost 25 years. For the past four years she has been making her home with her daughter, Mrs May Stephenson, wife of a Los Angeles bank executive.

She is also survived by three other children: Allen S Robberson, manager of the Powel Equipment and Tractor Co of Port Arthur, Canada; W N (William) Robberson, in the personnel office of Mare Island navy yard in San Francisco; and Mrs Ann Cornelson, a member of the WAC, now serving in Berlin. There are four grandchildren, Barbara Robberson, Eugene Cornelson, and Margaret Cramberg, of Tulsa; and Gilbert Stephenson. Two nephews are P W Robberson, 804 NW 38 and R W Robberson, W. Reno.
