Martha Lowe, 80, of Springfield died Saturday, Jan. 25, 2003, at her home. She was born Aug. 13, 1922, in Springfield, the daughter of Vincent and Anna Oberreiter. She married Charles R. Lowe Sr. in 1930; he died in 1985. Mrs. Lowe was a homemaker. She worked at Wilhoit Manufacturing and Boss Manufacturing, retiring in 1986. Survivors: three daughters, Barbara (husband, Albert) Curry of Springfield, Helen (husband, John) Abel of Seattle and Sandy (husband, Bob) Steimel of Chatham; a son, Charles R. Jr. (wife, Barbara) Lowe of Sherman; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Staab Funeral Home. Burial: Camp Butler National Cemetery.
