(1723) Died, September 16, 1862, Elizabeth Emma Lowry, youngest daughter of James F. and Martha Lowry, of Edgefield District, aged six years, three months and eleven days. She died with Dyptheria. (The Edgefield Advertiser, Dec. 17, 1862)
This couple had five children: besides James Conrad listed below and Elizabeth Emma named above, are Whitfield B. Lowry, Ellen S. B. Lowry Still, and Frances Ann Lowry Ouzts May.
