MRS. T. FRENCH DIED FRIDAY

Mrs. Taylor French, nee Mary Jane McBride, passed away at her home in Herman on last Friday, July 9, 1937. She had been in poor health for some time, but was not ill enough to be bedfast until a short time before her death.

Deceased was born on the old home farm about six miles south of Blair, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John McBride. She grew to womanhood on the old home farm and attended school at the Sunnyside school.

She was married to Taylor French at Blair on December 16, 1896, and one son, Earl, was born to this union, who with the father is left to mourn a real wife and mother.

Mrs. French was a woman of high repute, and was an earnest sincere Christian. She numbered her friends by her circle of acquaintance, and she will be greatly missed.

Besides her immediate family, she leaves two sisters, Mrs. John A. McDonald and Mrs. Richard McDonald and three brothers, George, Frank and Charles McBride, all of Blair, who join the bereaved husband and son in their sorrow.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 from the Methodist church in Blair with Rev. Bryant Howe officiating, and interment was made in the Blair cemetery.
