Trula Irene King, 99, formerly of Monticello, died at 11:55 p.m. Monday, April 23, 2007, at the Paoli Health and Living Community.
She was born in Paoli on Feb. 10, 1908, to Grover Cleveland and Stella (Wellman) Hill. She married Sidney Joseph Lindley on Oct. 7, 1925. He is deceased. She later married James Henry King on Feb. 17, 1962. He is deceased.
Survivors include daughter, Alma King Myers, Greenfield; sister, Pauline Archer, Bloomington; caretaker and granddaughter, Sharon West, Paoli; seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Her daughter, Frances Marie Dixon; sons, Robert Lindley, James and Marvin King; grandson, Carl Dixon; and sister, Lula Elliott; are deceased.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday at the McAdams Mortuary, 500 SW First St., Paoli. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the mortuary with Brother Harvey McAdams officiating. Burial will be at the Paoli Community Cemetery.
