Arnold graduated from Sandusky High School in 1938, which is where he met his wife -- Winifred Juanita Rich. They were united in marriage on October 14, 1939 in Sandusky, Michigan. After marrying, they moved to Detroit, Michigan, where Arnold began a successful career in Accounting. In the early 50's, they built a home near Rochester, Michigan, which is where they raised their five children.
Arnold enjoyed traveling with his family and family vacations took precedence each summer. He and Juanita enjoyed geneology and went to England for family reunions. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Rochester, Michigan and a former member of Zion Lutheran Church in Marshall.
Besides his wife, Arnold is survived by his children Sandra (John) Savillo, Bonita (Ron) Coffinger, Rebecca (David) Derusha, Randall (Pam) Genshaw, and Debra (Tom) Reynolds; 15 grandchildren; and sisters Vera (Vince)Boreen, and Velma (Syl) Novak. He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter (Shannon) in 1977.
Services to celebrate his life will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, Marshall, Michigan, on Friday, February 5, at 10:30 a.m., with the Reverend Maurice Shackell officiating. Interment will be in Oakridge Cemetery, Marshall, Michigan. Arrangements by Craig K. Kempf Funeral Home.
