Mr. Doyle Floyd Mauk, 73 of Golden Road, Bremen passed away September 5, 2008. Mr. Mauk was born on August 18, 1935 in Haralson County, Georgia the son of the late Buford Mauk and Lillie Williams Mauk. A retiree of Builders Station. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by brothers, Chalmus, Leon and Ralph Mauk.
Survivors include his wife, Geri Golden Mauk of Bremen; daughters and sons in law, Cindy & Randy Pate of Buchanan and Pam & Don Cothran of Tallapoosa; sisters and brothers in law, Aileen & Ralph McBride of Marietta and Carolyn & Tom Neal of Jacksonville FL; brother & sister in law, Bobby & Faye Mauk of Tallapoosa; sister in law, Ruth Mauk of Bremen; grandchildren, Andrew Cothran & Hannah Cothran.
Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, September 7, 2008 at 3 PM from Union Hill United Methodist Church with Rev. Jason Owens and Rev. Russell Golden officiating. Brad Golden, Sid Golden, Mark Washington, Chris Washington, David Allen, Michael Allen, Jimmy Mauk and Caleb Eaves will serve as pallbearers. Andrew Cothran and Wayne Golden will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Interment will follow in Union Hill Church Cemetery.
