MRS. CHAS. E. BRIDGES, SR.
Funeral services for Mrs. Chas. E. Bridges, Sr., 48, wife of Chas E. Bridges, Sr., of El Salto, Durango, Mexico, were held Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the Harrisville Baptist Church. Rev. B. A. McCullough was in charge of the services, assisted by Rev. B. E. Phillips and Rev. O. L. Byrd.
Mrs. Bridges, a resident of Harrisville, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday night. She is survived by her husband, three sons, Charles E. Bridges; Lester Bridges and Reece Bridges, all of Harrisvllle; one daughter, Mrs. W. E. Pickens, Jr., of Tuscaloosa, Ala., and five sisters, Miss Rhoda Barlow, Harrisvllle; Mrs. J. H. Williams, of Union; Mrs. S. J. McDonald, of Terry; Mrs. L. P. Miller and Mrs. M. H. Ball, of Star. Mrs. Bridges was interred irt (sp) Harrisvllle Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Wylie Barlow, Harvey Hilton, Wiley Bridges, Elton Barlow, Lem Murray, and Clifton Barlow Hartman Funeral Home was in charge of burial.
