Mrs. Sarah Eleanor Preston, 81, widow of Thomas Preston, resident of the Brandon vicinity all of her life, died Thursday at 5:30 pm in Mercy Hospital, Mt. Vernon, following three months' illness.
Surviving are a son Winifred and a daughter Mrs. Albert Chrisman of Brandon; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Etta Hyatt of Mt. Vernon and Emma McClurg of Homer; one brother Jasper Crottinger of Centerburg.
The body will be taken to the Chrisman home this afternoon, and funeral services will be conducted on Sunday at 2:30 pm in the Baptist Church in Brandon with burial in Brandon Cemetery. The body will be taken to the church at 1:30 pm.
