----------------------
Far away in Memories Valley
Steals my lonely heart tonight
To my old Home in Ohio
That was once my hearts delight.
Life seems long & bright before me
Swiftly did the moments go-
Then an angel called my mother,
And the dear one had to go.

Now I'm old and sad and lonely
Passing down life's mountain tall
Nothing left for me now only
Pictures hung on Memory's wall
Sands of time are slowly passing
Onward to the mighty sea-
Will there be someone waiting
Waiting on the shore for me?

Star of hope that beams upon me
Smile upon me in your pride
Of the past I am sadly dreaming
Since my loved ones have died.
Years may come and years may vanish
Still my Heart with pain you'll fill
I can never never vanish
Dreams of loved ones haunt me still.

From Mother to Her Two Dear Children

When Heavenly Angels are guarding the good
As God has ordained them to do
In an's to Prayers I have offered to Him
I know there is one watching you
And may its bright Spirit go with you through life
And guide you up Heaven's bright Stairs
To meet with the Mother who loves you so true
And remembers you at Night in her Prayers.
