Katherine Aiello passed away today September 19, 2011. She has joined her beloved husband Steven Aiello. They were married on October 9, 1954 and enjoyed 54 years on earth together and now are rejoined in Heaven. Kay was an amazing mother to Diana, Patti and Steve. She had a love for life and helping others and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, Katie, Sara, Joanna, Matthew and Luke and great grandchildren Marcus, and Ariana. And blessed with a new arrival Noah. all who are living in Missouri at this time.
Kay is survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, also her brother Ralph Kurtz, New Athens, IL and her sister Barbara Kurtz Easter of Oakville, MO. and many Nieces, Nephews and Godchildren.
Kay is the 6th child of Joseph and Clara Kurtz who preceded her in death as well as brothers Lawrence, Casper and Louis Kurtz, and sisters Marian Kurtz Day and Evelyn Kurtz Rogers.
Kay will be missed by many!

Beloved wife of the late Steve Aiello; loving mother and mother-in-law of Diana (Randy) Rhodes, Patti (John) Sturm and Steve Aiello III; dear Grannie of Katie (Alfrae) Kroninger, Sara (Tim) Kluesner, Joanna Rhodes (fiance Sam Huff), Matthew (Christina) Sturm, Alex Rhodes and Luke Sturm; dear great-grannie of Marcus Rhodes, Ariana Kroninger and Noah Kluesner; dear sister of Barb (John) Easter and Ralph (Alice) Kurtz; dear sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, cousin, godmother and friend. Kay was a Eucharistic Minister at her parish and DePaul Hospital. Services: Procession 9 a.m. Friday, Sept. 23 from HUTCHENS Mortuary to St. Angela Merici for 9:30 a.m. Mass. Interment J.B. National Cemetery.
