Helmuth A. Dietert Jr. died June 16, 2002 in San Antonio at the age of 63. He was preceded in death by his parents, Helmuth A. Dietert Sr. and Lona (Schievelbein) Dietert; grandparents, Walker and Minnie (Speckt) Dietert, Lothar and Adela (Wagner) Schievelbein. He retired after 35 years of dedicated service from City Public Service. He is survived by his brother, Donald Wayne Dietert and wife Linda; one nephew of Grants Pass, OR; two nieces of Burnside, MN; one niece of IL; business partner and friend, Nora Hawes; aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. Visitation: 5:00-7:00 P.M., Wednesday at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, June 20, 2002 at Sunset Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. Sunset Funeral Home.
