Grace Abbott Walters, 91, of Boaz, Ala, formerly of Tifton, died Wednesday, Oct 26, 1994 in Boaz.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday at the Memorial Chapel of First Baptist Church. Dr. W. Ches Smith III will officiate. Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First Baptist Church; the funds will be directed to the Georgia Baptist Children's Home.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Born Oct 15, 1903, in Fulton County, she was the daughter of John Abbott and Anne Poole Abbott, both deceased.
She is survived by her husband, J. C. Walters of Boaz; one son, One sister, Helen Cohn of Philadelphia, six grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals is in charge of arrangements.
