Marjean, 84, passed away at Falls Care and Rehab Center. She was a graduate of Shelley High School and a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Ladder-day Saints. On November 27, 1947, she married Ivan Leroy Thurman. They lived in the Salt Lake City area until moving in 1956 to Shelley. She worked at R T French for many years until her retirement. She was married to Robert Lee Smith from 1978 until his death in 1991. She and Lyle Irvin Hillman married in 1996 and were together until 2002, when he died and she moved to Idaho Falls. Survivors included: brother Wallace (Grace) Bowler of Sandy, UT; sister Maxine (Ira) Armstrong of West Valley City, UT; brother Richard Bowler; son Dean Thurman of Idaho Falls; daughter Connie Biesner of Gardnerville, NV; and 17 step-children. Preceding were both parents, her sister Wanda Christensen, husbands Robert Lee Smith and Lyle Irvin Hillman, and son Kenneth Ivan Thurman. Services held September 23 in Shelley at Nalder Funeral Home.
