Franklin Jerome "Toby" Ethridge, 60, died Friday evening, June 20, 2003, at Roper Berkeley Day Hospital. Graveside service will be 5 PM Monday, June 23, 2003 at the Bethel Cemetery.

ANDREWS CHAPEL OF McKENZIE FUNERAL HOME is in charge. Mr. Ethridge was born October 2, 1942 in Georgetown County, a son of Fred Ethridge and Maude Davis Ethridge. He was a heavy equipment operator with Marine Terminal of SC, a member of the Oak Grove Hunting Club, and of the United Methodist faith.

Surviving are his wife, Annette Cook Ethridge of Moncks Corner; a son, Justin Travis Ethridge of Georgetown; a daughter, Jennelle E. Swails of Georgetown; three brothers, Sid Ethridge of Andrews, Cecil "Bucky" Ethridge of Georgetown, Fred A. Ethridge of Douglas, AZ; a sister, Patricia E. Timmons of Bonneau; a foster-brother, Thomas Ed Lewis of Montgomery, IN; two grandchildren, Sandy Elsie Swails and Vernon O'Brian Swails; and two step-grandchildren, Glenn Allen Posser and Christopher Joshua Posser, both of Holly Hill.
