Nathan A. Sutton, 58, died Saturday at his home, 47 Atlantic avenue, North Long Branch, following a lengthy illness. He had been ailing some time with a heart ailment.

Mr. Sutton was born at Califon, N.J., and was a resident of Long Branch the last six years. He conducted a real estate and insurance business at the above address with his son, Albert W. Sutton. He was a member of Asbury Methodist church at North Long Branch and was a member of the National Real Estate association.

The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at the Worden funeral home with Rev. Davis A. Simons, pastor of the Asbury Methodist church, officiating. Burial was in Glenwood cemetery.

Mr. Sutton is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mina H. Mundy Sutton; a daughter, Mrs. Elsie, wife of Gustave E. Schmidt, 59 Black Point road, Rumson; three sons, Lloyd K. Sutton, 48 Jackson street, Long Branch; Robert D. Sutton, 479 Broadway, Long Branch; and Albert W. Sutton, living at home; six grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Carrie, wife of Nicholas Ernest and Mrs. Josephine Brown, both of Neshanic, N.J., and Miss Bida Sutton, Newark; and two brothers, Hugh G. Sutton, Glendale, Cal., and Cruikshank Sutton, Neshanic.
