Lester A. Fowler Jr. "Les" passed away at home surrounded by his family on October 11, 2004.
Les was born on December 2, 1944 to Lester and Marjorie Fowler in Paris, Texas. Les served in the Air Force from 1962 to 1967 fulfilling a tour of duty in Vietnam. He also served in the Army Reserve. Les married Rita Dees on October 15, 1976 they were later sealed in the Atlanta, Georgia Temple on July 7, 1983.
Les is survived by his wife Rita, children; Shauna and Trey of West Jordan, Utah, and Shannon of Wheatridge, CO; siblings; Richard Fowler of Vaiden, Miss; Ricky Fowler of Dallas, Texas, Phillip Fowler of Carthage, Mississippi, Kay Fowler of Denver, CO; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday October 14, 2004 at the Mountain View 1st Ward at 2:30 p.m. Friends and family are invited to call on Wednesday October 13, 2004 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Mortuary 6500 South Redwood Road, and one hour prior to services on Thursday at the church. Interment at Redwood Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the American Cancer Society.
