Betty Jane Johnson "You Will Be Missed" Betty Jane Syme Johnson passed away October 10, 2006, with her loving family by her side. She was born June 4, 1931 in Moroni, UT to Lees and Vera Christensen Syme. Later her family moved to Salt Lake City and she graduated from Cyprus High School, where she met Blaine Eldon Poulsen. They were married December 22, 1948; sealed in the Salt Lake Temple August 1950 - later divorced. She married Terry Johnson; he passed away May 13, 1991. Betty was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved and cherished her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed taking trips to Wendover. Survived by her children: Kent (Sara) Poulsen, Cheri (Thomas) Niedringhaus, Robyn (Bob) Brown, Kevin (Cindy) Poulsen; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Myrna (Ken) Alvey, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Preceded in death by her husband, Terry; great-grandson, Brighton; three brothers; and three sisters. Funeral services will be Saturday, October 14, 2006 at 1 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State Street, where friends may call from 11-12:45 prior to services. Interment Redwood Memorial Estates. Condolences can be shared with the family at www.jenkins-soffe.com
