Our loving mother and grandmother, Fane Maliete Latu, 82 returned home to our Heavenly Father on June 14, 2004.
Born August 1, 1921 in Tatakamotonga, Tonga to the late Filimone Malungahu and Mele Kakala Lutui. She will be remembered for her hard work and the most loving mother, grandmother, and sister.
Fane is survived by two sons; Tevita Tauteoli Fiefia (Melolini Taufa Afu) and Malakai Pulu Fiefia (Folauhola Tulimafua); nine grandchildren; Mele Velangilala (Haine Fifita), Tevita Tauteoli Jr., Fane Malieta, Feiloakitau Kaho, Douglas Kaleikini, Mele Kakala, Kioa, Semisi Uilani; and a beautiful great-granddaughter, Skyla ABCDE Fiefia; five brothers, Isileli, Kaitangi, Kipaoa, Tuki, and Mosese; seven sisters, Ana Manu, Teisa, Matei, Fuai Api, Heilala, Pulotu, and Ofa. Proceeded in death by her husband, Kioa Latu; her brothers, Na'a, Kioa, and Folau, and sisters, Hola He Tau and Asena.
Friends and family are invited to attend a viewing to be held Friday, June 18, 2004 8 pm-11 p.m. at Memorial Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East in Murray, Utah. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 19, 2004 at Memorial Mortuary.
The family would like to express their love and gratitude to the staff at Woodland Park for all of their kindness.
