John E. Patrick, 81, of Plant City died Saturday in Lakeland. A native of Port Orange, he moved to Plant City in 1952 from Dade City. He was a phosphate mining plant operator and member of Turkey Creek Assembly of God Church.

He is survived by his wife, Lessie; two sons, John P. of Brooksville and Lester E. of Lakeland; three daughters, Carolyn E. Victorio of St. Petersburg, Judy Gail Viviano of Plant City and Adrienne Wright of Middletown, Ohio; a brother, Bud of Daytona Beach; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Wells Memorial Funeral Home, Plant City in charge of arrangements.
