Mrs. Annie Sparrow Adams, 79 of Gwynn, died on Wednesday, April 8, 1970 in a Newport News hospital after a long illness.
She was the widow of Robert Frank Adams, and was a member of the Gwynn's Island Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son, E H Adams of Hudgins; a daughter, Mrs. Wallace H Armistead of Mathews; three sisters, Mrs. Clara Powell of Gwynn, Mrs. Laura Ward of Portsmouth, and Mrs. Peachie F Fitchett of Gloucester; two brothers, Orus Sparrow and Vincent Sparrow, both of Gwynn; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
