John Calvin Manhart, 69, passed away July 13, 1990 at a Salt Lake hospital.
Born July 3, 1921 in Adamsville, Utah to Calvin Dennis and Fanny Mae Evans Manhart. Married June Hoerster December 3, 1956 in Salt Lake City. Member LDS Church. Was a telephone lineman at Tooele Depot. Army veteran of WW II.
Survived by wife, June; children, Marsha Garcia; Mary Jane Manhard; John Manhard; Jack Lee Manhard; Margartte Bonnila; Calvin Dennis Manhart; 22 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, all Salt Lake City; brothers, Wallace Manhard, Beaver; Wesley Manhard, and James Brooks, both Salt Lake City; Preceded in death by brothers, Dennis and Billy Manhard; sister, Lea Mae Rogers; and daughter, Doris June Manhard.
He was loved dearly and will be missed dearly.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 17, 11 a.m., Redwood Memorial Estates Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, where friends may call Monday, 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estate
