Services for Sandra K. Ray Lee, 54, Troup, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday,
Sept. 24, at the First Baptist Church, Troup, with the Rev. Steven Oakes
officiating. Burial will be in the Tecula Cemetery near Jacksonville under
direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.
Mrs. Lee died Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2011, at her residence. She was born May 17,
1957, in Atlanta, Ga., to the late Orville and Lula Moon Buttram. She had been a
lifetime resident of the East Texas area. She owned and operated the Thee Kafe
in Arp for the past four years and previously had been the manager of the Troup
Dairy Queen for 18 years.
Survivors include her husband, Rick Lee, Troup; son and daughter-in-law, Ben and
Josie Ray, Troup; daughter, Lori Ray, Jacksonville; brother, Wayne Buttram,
Tyler; two sisters, Kathy McKnight, Overton, and Jane Wilkins, Chandler; two
granddaughters, Audrey Jo and Georgia Ann Ray; and numerous, aunts, uncles,
nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Buttram, Rex Buttram, Ryan Hall, Mickey McKnight, John
Ray, Jasen McCommas, Brad Smith and Rick Franxman.
