Mr. Aldrich was the son of Phillip Aldrich and Clara Ford.
Mr. Aldrich and his first wife Loraina, also born in Canada in 1842 (died 07-04-1878) had two children, daughter Netta and son Elam who were both born in Michigan.
Mr. Aldrich's second wife was Ida L. Hunter, born 1856 in Berrien County, Michigan. They were married on 10-09-1879 in Bainbridge, Berrien County, MI, and it appears they had a daughter named Helen who was born on 04-16-1885 in Michigan and died on 11-12-1913 in Kent County, Michigan. Ida's parents were Robert Hunter, born in Ireland, and Hulda C. Carpenter, born in Pennsylvania (?).
Mr. Aldrich died in Beaver Township, Newaygo County, Michigan.
After Mr. Aldrich's death, Ida married Calvin J. Cross of Beaver Twonship on 09-08-1905 in Volney, Beaver Township, Newaygo County, Michigan.
